Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he is in interested in signing midfielder Lucas Moura. The Manchester United manager is yet to agree a deal for the 19-year-old who is in the Brazil olympic squad, but is looking to add him to his team, “We haven’t reached an agreement for the player. We’ve shown an interest but until such time as we get a deal agreed we can’t say he’s our player.”
There had been rumours of a £26m deal on the table for the Sao Paulo player but this has been denied so far. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Inter Milan are also chasing the highly rated international player.
