Chelsea captain John Terry was today cleared of charges relating to racial abuse of fellow football player Anton Ferdinand. The Ex-England captain had denied making the racial comments about Ferdinand last October however the case went to court. During this saga England Manager Fabio Capello walked out over the fiasco.
John Terry had said that he was angry and upset about these claims and fellow colleague Ashley Cole said yesterday that this case should never have even come to court. Chief Magistrate Howard Riddle said he had heard a great deal of evidence to show Mr Terry was not a racist.
