LeBron Jame splayed like a man on a mission to take the Miami Heat to the NBA finals. The Heat knew that a loss here would mean the end of their journey. However it seemed like it was LeBron who took it upon himself to make sure that the Heat took the series to game 7 as he scored 45 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Lebron scored 30 of the total 45 points in the first half.

It was a tough task to go to Boston and win as the Celtics had only lost once perviously in the post season but the Heat did just that. Rajon Rondo scored 21 points and got 10 assists but the Celtics never really got going.

LeBron James on his performance: “In an environment like this, you want to have a big game. I wanted to be there for my teammates, no matter what was going on throughout the course of the game. This was a gut-check for us.”

Kevin Garnett on Game 7: “Nothing’s been easy up until this point. You know, you can’t expect it now. It is what it is. We’re going take these cards and play them, and we’re going to fight. A bunch of fighters in this locker room.”

Dwayne Wade: “He played amazing. He was locked in from the beginning of the game like I’ve never seen him before. The shots he was making was unbelievable. He really put on an MVP performance tonight.”
