Manchester United have reported £30 million bid turned down for Porto winger Rodriguez !

New has emerged that Manchester United have made a reported £30 million bid for FC Porto winger James Rodriguez. The player has been watched numerous times bu United’s scouts and it is understood the player is one of Ferguson’s main targets.

The buyout clause for the player is currently at £40 million which was signed by the player and the club itself only last summer. This was included in his contract with the club as he signed a 5 year deal. Porto are looking to hold out for the full amount for the 20 year old Colombian.

It was thought that this deal would involve Nani being sold but Ferguson wants the player regardless of whether Nani stays or goes. United were also interested in involving Anderson as a make weight in the deal but Porto were said to be not interested
