At the University of California there is an Art installation that has taken everyone by surprise. It almost looks like a house has been dropped onto of another building. However this life size cottage is known as the falling star and  was made by artist Do Hu Suh.

The building that the cottage is on top of is the engineering building on the campus. the house is fully functioning with a fully functional garden, tv, lights flickering at night . Even tiny details such as family photos  and a remote control show you that this is a working house. If you are thinking this installation might collapse at any time due the earthquakes well think again. it conform to all the building regulations and can with stand 100mph winds.

Artist Suh said he felt ‘as if he was dropped from the sky’ when he first arrived in the U.K from Korea hence the installation.  Check out all the pics.
