The Celtics are now just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals and many people wouldn’t put it past them to do just that. Kevin Garnett was the main player from the Celtics who took it upon himself to make sure Boston went into game 6 with the momentum. Garnett scored 26 points and 11 rebounds while Rajon Rondo had 13 assists.
The Heat welcomed back Chris Bosh and even though he played just 12 minutes he scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Lebron James led the Heat with 30 points while Dwayne Wade made 27, but it was not enough.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers: They jumped on us at the beginning of the game and we just told our guys to just hang in there. Just hang in there. Don’t overreact. Hang in there. The longer we’re in the game, the better we’ll play.”
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra: “It’s probably like a boxer. You just got to go back to your corner right now. We all just have to huddle up and lean on each other. We’re the only people we can depend on right now.”
We report on everything from football and boxing, to Formula 1 and Cricket. Sports are diverse and all equally deserving of attention
