carmageddon relaunch
The video game that was banned Carmageddon to be revived!

Back in 1997 the game carmageddon was banned by the BBFC due the nature of the game. Players had to run over as many people as they could to get points. However the games creator have secured $400,000 from investors via the internet to relaunch it.

Kick starter websites have funded a fair few games in the past and it seems carmageddon is one that will certainly be top of peoples to play list. The Carmageddon project was on the internet site to try and get funds for only 10 days before it reached its marker.

It description read: Carmageddon: Reincarnation is going to reintroduce the gaming world to the original freeform driving sensation, where pedestrians (and cows) equal points and your opponents are a bunch of crazies in a twisted mix of automotive killing machines. It’s the racing game where racing is for wimps.’
