The AGA cooker has been around for over 80 years and they have decided to take the tech world head on. this cooker can be turned on and off by just a simple text message and will be on sale this Friday. The AGA iTotal Control will set you back a cool £10,090  and has three ovens for roasting, backing and  simmering. Each of these three ovens can be controlled and monitored separately.

The new AGA model receives its commands via  a normal sim card  which is put into a box and is connected to the cooker via a cable. Each cooker has a unique phone number  and you can then control your oven from where ever you are.

AGA also has an app which once again lets you control your cooker. ‘Things getting decidedly more techie in the kitchen’ these days.You can ensure the cooker is warm and supper will be cooked at exactly the time you need it – wherever you are in the world,’ said a spokesman.
