There was to be no monumental comeback this time from the Clippers as the Grizzlies made sure they stayed in contention. Rudy Gay led with 21 points with reserve O.J Mayo scoring 20 points overall but 10 of those were crucially in the last quarter.

Chris Paul scored a game high 29 points but the Clippers had 25 turnovers and the Grizzlies were in no mood to let them not be converted. They scored 25 points from the 21 turnovers.

Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro: “Too many offensive rebounds. Too many turnovers. That’s what [the Grizzlies] live on.”
