It was Chris Paul who led the Clippers to victory in over tim with 8 points. The Clippers started the game strongly scoring 32 points but the Grizzlies never gave up and forced over time. Blake Griffin was the hero in normal time with 30 points and 7 assists but he also fouled out with over 2 minutes remaining.
The grizzlies came back from a 10 point deficit with just over 4 minutes left but it was not to be their night. Rudy Gay made 23 points but Clippers could still clinch their second play-off victory in 36 years.
