The Sixers were trying to become only the 5th team seeded 8th in NBA history to beat a number 1 seed and they did just that. Andre Iguodala’s free throws with just 2 seconds remaining gave the young guns the win. Iguodala scored 20 points while Jrue Holiday and Lou Williams added 14 a piece.

It was Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton that scored 19 points each who tried to get the Bulls back in the game with Deng also pulling down 17 rebounds.

Sixers Coach Doug Collins on Iguodala: “He’s gone through a lot here. I told him no one deserves this more than you do.”
