The NFL have unveiled the full schedule for the upcoming 2012/13 season. Opening day will be on Wednesday September 5th as reigning Superbowl champions New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys. This season’s lineup will gain more prime-time exposure in the US as there will be more Thursday night games than ever before, leading to at least two weeknight games in the schedule’s first 15 weeks. Peyton Manning will take to the field as a Denver Bronco for the first time on Sunday 9th September against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with a double header on Monday night finishing off Week 1 (Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens; San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders). New Orleans Saints will be at the forefront of viewers eyes this season after the Bounty Scandal, and will begin against the Redskins and rookie QB RG3 (assuming he is drafted by the Washington team).

Two international games will also take place with the St. Louis Rams battling against the New England Patriots in London on Oct. 28th, while the Buffalo Bills will welcome the Seattle Seahawks to Toronto on Dec. 16th.
