The Z Board began life as a kick starter project amassing an incredible $278,000 from 425 donors. It is the first electronic skateboard that uses a robotic weight-sensing system.  You don’t need to push the board along with your trailing leg, instead you can simply lean forward and back to propel yourself. This means even the most awful riders will be able to control their skateboard.

The ZBoard takes about 5 hours to charge and can be charged with any standard outlet. It will go to 17mph  and will last for approximately 10 miles. If you are thinking it might not work if you happen to go up hill, you would be wrong. There are different types of board so for San Franciso which has steep paths, it generates torque so it can easily climb an ascending path.

Another model is the Santa Monica Specila which has a bigger range and its wheels are specifically designed for the concrete services in the area. The one that we like though is the ZBoard special. This board has a Bluetooth sound system so you can listen o your favourites songs as you cruise around.
