When your team is 27 points up with only 9 minutes left to go, it’s safe to say that you would think the victory is yours. However on Sunday night the CLippers staged an astonishing comeback. The Grizzlies were unplayable in the first three quarters as they shot 50& from the floor and a huge 66% from the 3 point range.
However in the fourth they seemed to lose their way and the Clippers posted 35 points with Memphis managing just 13 which sealed their fate. Memphis coach Hollins said: “It’s the little things that cost you in games like this and playoff games aren’t meant to be blowouts. Sometimes they are, but when you have two evenly matched teams, you can expect that both teams are going to be in the game at the end. The Clippers got back to win the game. We just didn’t make enough plays and they did.”
