You have the opportunity to purchase the first ever Stealth boat for a mere £61,000. The boat which was built by the US Navy for $190 Million in the 1980’s is being sold for scrap. So anyone thinking they will get to cruise around in the boat thinking they are in some sort of James Bond movie will be disappointed.

The sale is being done by a bidding process by Salvage dealers and the Sea Shadow has reached a bid of $100,000 with the auction coming to an end on Thursday. The Vessel which many people did not even know existed until 1993, was in full operation from 1985.

The stats of the vessel are that it measures 164ft x 70ft. Its top speed is 14 knots, with the ship weighing 563 tons. You would think there would be some place for the vessel to be housed for future generations to see but the Navy could not find anyone. The ship was developed by an agency of the Navy but it was never commissioned.
