Former England Manager Fabio Capello is hoping for a managers position in the Premier League. There is a vacant space at Chelsea and they will be looking to recruit an international big name. There will also be a vacancy should Harry Redknapp decide to leave the Tottenham Hotspurs job and take up the reigns for England.
AC Milan had hoped the Capello would be their Director of football but Capello still wants to be on the front line. He said: ‘I would like to be on the pitch every day,’ he said. ‘The director role is too slow for me. The desk doesn’t suit me. I was a director for four years when I managed England.
Capello added: ‘I want to be a coach for another two years. I love London. I’d prefer to coach in the Premier League. I would only return to Italy for something really tasty.’
