The Bulls were playing with their first choice team for only the 15th time this season. despite the injuries during the season they were still pursuing the leagues best record. The main man for the Bulls was Kyle Korver who scored 22 points in 20 minutes. The bench scored 39 points and Coach TOm Thibodeau was impressed : “I liked the way the starters started the game. I thought it got us off to a good start. And our bench, you can’t say enough about those guys. … (It was) just a lot of good stuff from the bench guys.”

Derrick Rose: “I just think that he’s gotten more comfortable. He was out a long period of time. When he comes back, he usually gets up to speed pretty quickly. He said this morning he’s feeling a lot better, and that’s after two days of practice, too. That’s a real good sign.”
