- Music, Throwback Thursdays
This week’s Throwback Thursday takes it back to 2005 when 50 Cent was in full mainstream takeover with his single “Candy Shop“. The Billboard Hot 100 chart topping track was taken from the G-Unit general’s second studio album The Massacre. Featuring R&B singer Olivia and production from Scott Storch, it was nominated for Best Rap Song at the Grammys. The song also reached number one in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland, and the top five in Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. It went on to reach platinum status in the US and Australia and gold in Germany.
“The Massacre” available on iTunes US / Amazon UK
