Dallas Mavericks beat the LA Clippers at home for 10th time in a row 96 – 92 (Video)

The Dallas Mavericks record against the clippers on their home patch is astonishing. This was their 10th succesive win against the Clippers. The MAvs started well taking an eight point lead into the second quarter. The second quarter ended all square with 28 points each and then the Clippers turned up the heat by overturning the 8 point deficit to take a 2 point lead.

The Mavs though never backed down and piled on the points in the final quarter to take the game by 96 -92.  This was a good win for the Mavs as this season they have not overturned a deficit going into the final quarter. Dirk Nowitski scored 22 points with Clippers Butler scoring a game high 23 points. Butler missed a crucial 3 pointer with 9 seconds remaining that could have given the Clippers the game.

Butler said on the missed shot: “It felt real good. I got my feet up under me, followed through. It was a routine shot, just fell a little short.”

Mavericks are now on a 4 game winning streak and Brendan Haywood had this to say on his teams recent form: We’re very happy with the way that we’re playing right now. People are coming to play defensively and guys are getting better every day. We’re winning games against tough teams.”
