On Friday December 2nd, Ed Lover teamed up with highly respected Hip Hop journalists Shaheem Reid and Jayson Rodriguez, DJ Peter Rosenberg and Miss Info for a special mix show on Hot 97 to celebrate the return of YO! MTV Raps to MTV tonight with their retrospective “Classic Cuts” episode. Taking over the station during midday, the all Hip Hop loving enthusiasts presented a special “throwback mix show” featuring classic joints like A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario,” Ice Cube’s “Today Was a Good Day,” Geto Boys’ “Mind’s Playin’ Tricks On Me” and a WHOLE LOT MORE.
