Snitches who have been speaking to WSJ are stating that the next iPad and the rumoured iTV device will feature displays made by Sharp.
The Snitch also informed WSJ that Apple have invested undisclosed sums to Sharps factories in the far east.
Sharp is trying to turn around its LCD panel business by increasing production of smaller panels for smartphones and tablets instead of larger panels for televisions.
We cannot be sure if Apple’s decision to use Sharp has anything to do with it’s on going legal disputes with Samsung electronics who have outrageously cloned Apple products over the past few years.
