Kurrans Bets – Man City win, Bendtner to keep on scoring and La Liga surprise package Levante to keep unbeaten run

After a heavy night out yesterday, I am relishing this early morning start, and writing this article with all the enthusiasm of Dimitar Berbatov on League Cup night. I won’t dwindle on last weeks misfortunes (I saw great value, apparently, in backing Manchester United for a win), but will instead dive right into this weeks potential money makers. ps – apologies if any of this sounds like it was written by Andy Carroll after one too many.

Bet 1 – Man City vs Wolves – Under 3.5 goals

Going against the grain here with most people expecting another Manchester City thumping. Man City should win this game, of that I am in little doubt, but the odds don’t offer any value here. Wolves have only conceded 5 goals away from home in their 4 games this season, and I fancy Man City to win this game by a goal or 2 as Mick McCarthy will be hell bent on ensuring his side don’t get thrashed again. Odds of 1.77 can be found at 188bet

Bet 2 – Nicklas Bendtner – Anytime Goalscorer

With Bendtner finally getting a loving arm around his shoulder and the spotlight to parade his array of distasteful footwear, it appears like he may actually come good. In a rich vein of form at present and with Sunderland knocked in 6 goals in their last 2 home fixtures, I am backing the big Dane to score at some point in the game. Great odds of 3.0 can be found at Coral

Bet 3 – Osasuna vs Levante – Levante no loss

As Levante continue to fight against the elite in La Liga (coming back to win 3-2 midweek), the league leaders go to Osasuna riding a wave of confidence.Juan Ignacio Martinez and his team can be backed at a huge 3.4 for the win, but I am preferring to get value from value odds of 1.62 on the double chance (Levante win or draw) at StanJames
