Is Carlos Tevez Worth the trouble?
In truth we all know Tevez has been un happy in Manchester for some time now. Who would be happy with earning £200k a week and playing for the most improving club on the planet and living every little boy and mans dream? Tevez is a spoilt player who sadly isn’t the only one of his generation who has ideas above his station. He will never learn that a manager needs to be respected and i partly think Ferguson did not take him as he saw trouble brewing when his contract was due for renewal. It was the best bit of business Ferguson ever did in not buying Tevez, who now seems on a mission to destroy Man City’s hopes of becoming team that is bonding and challenging for their first premier league.
Man city must back Mancini over this Tevez affair, if not then surely Mancini has to leave. A manager can not manage if he hasnt got the boards backing when things go wrong with players. Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho and Guardiola would all have got rid of a player like this and once and for all banished him to the reserves like he deserves. Tevez wants us to feel sorry for him, but how can we? He acts like a petulant child and all the good work he has done in the previous seasons he has been at City will surely not be what people remember. They will all remember the turmoil and selfishness that typifies the man who does not get his own way.
Man city tried to sell Tevez in the summer but a deal could not be reached, they tried their best to ensure that he was happy through out the ordeal but he seems to have smacked all the good will back in City’s faces. The fans must surely want to see the back of a player who is undoubtedly talented but a disturbance to the dressing room, the club and the board. They have a new, faster, better, sharper and younger version in Aguero. He just gets on with playing the beautiful game we all love, in a way that makes you wonder why Tevez is even worth the trouble.
The saga will no doubt go on until the January transfer window but i for one as a neutral can not wait to see this arrogant selfish man out of the premier league.
