Happy Birthday to Dwayne Michael Carter Jr or as most people know him by, Lil Wayne. The New Orleans rapper turns 29 today and is sure to celebrate in style with the rest of his YMCMB family if past events are to go by.
Since joining Cash Money records at the tender age of 9 Lil Wayne’s popularity has continued to grow due to his ambition, dedication and quality of work. His voice, flow, lyrics and word play are second to none and this sets him apart from the rest of the music scene. His most succesful album to date is Tha Carter III which went platinum in just the first week, helped by the number one hit single ‘Lollipop’. He did come close to beating this recently with the recent release of Tha Carter IV which shows he is still on top of his game.
